India will be among top three countries in the field of fixed broadband from Jio Fiber: Ambani

Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, which has been instrumental in making India the number one country in terms of the use of Internet facilities on mobile, said on Thursday that the country's fiber-based broadband enabled the country to use fixed-line broadband data can lead India in top three countries. The country is currently ranked 135th in this case.
 
In 2016, Jio started the new revolution in the telecommunications industry by offering free phone calls and SMS facility with mobile data at a very low rate. India is currently the most used country on mobile Internet data. After the mobile area, Geo is now working towards implementing broadband services based on its ambitious fiber cable lines.
 
Addressing the India Mobile Congress, Ambani said, "From the first day Jio’s fiber will provide a full-fledged facility of fixed-line broadband and mobile data technology. In the meantime, Indians will get 4G and 5G tech benefits when they leave home or if they stay at home, they will get the facility of WiFi. "He said, "I think that in the area of fixed broadband India will join 135th place in the top three countries so fast that the whole world will be amazed."
