A Delhi court today directed RJD chief Lalu Prasad to appear before the court on December 20 in connection with the IRCTC scam case, through video conferencing. Special Judge Arun Bhardwaj issued this directive. He was told that because of poor health, Lalu did not appear in court before the court. The court directed the CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) to ensure that Laloo is in the hospital or in jail, his presence is done through video conferencing.
Meanwhile, the ED opposed Prasad's wife Rabri Devi, son Tejaswi Yadav and others' bail petition on the grounds that they are influential people and can provide relief on the investigation.
